Family Legal Protection

The Issue: 1 in 3 Americans will need an attorney in the next 12 months and access to affordable legal protection is hard to find.

The Solution: The United Legal Benefits plan gives employees access to unlimited legal advice and consultation (among other services) through a local law firm.

The United Legal Benefits plan is a licensed insurance plan that provides family legal protection in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, south central Pennsylvania and Delaware. This is not prepaid legal. United Legal Benefits allows your clients to select a law firm from a group of local firms, from which they will receive unlimited legal advice, consultation, review of legal documents, preparation of documents, representation in court and numerous other services like:
  • Family law/divorce
  • Traffic violation
  • Personal injury
  • Preparation of Wills
  • Preparation of Power of Attorney
  • Credit protection
  • And more

United Legal Benefits will provide a minimum of 25% off from the standard rates for legal matters that are not included in the list of services.

Clients will have direct, private and confidential contact with their attorney and develop a personal, long-lasting relationship that is similar to that of a family doctor or dentist. Payments are structured like that for health insurance, which has earned ULB the title of “Legal Healthcare.”
